Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation and breast implant surgery is a very personal decision. The artistry of human body takes on many shapes and sizes. We recognize that each individual is unique, having different goals and expectations with breast augmentation and breast implant surgery.
I hope to identify your goals and address your expectations.

According to a recent survey, more than one third of all women are dissatisfied with their breasts. Since the advent of breast augmentation surgery in the 1960s, millions of women have enhanced their breasts with both silicon implants and saline implants. Breast augmentation has become one of the most commonly performed cosmetic plastic surgical procedures. Today, women enjoy the benefits of this experience with results that look and feel natural.

Breast augmentation is usually performed in a surgical center or hospital outpatient facility. The procedure is done under general anesthesia. The incision will be made in such a way to make it as inconspicuous as possible, around the areola, in the armpit, in the crease where the breast meets the chest. The surgery usually takes one to two hours to complete. Most of the patients will be able to return to work within a few days, depending on the nature of their job.

A personal consultation is the first step for breast augmentation. I will ask you a series of questions regarding the desired breast size and anything else related to the appearance of your breasts. I will evaluate and examine your breasts and consider the size and shape of your breasts. During the consultation you will need to disclose your medical history, including medical conditions, drug allergies, medical treatments from the past, previous surgeries, and current medications. Family history in terms of breast cancer should be provided, as well as results of your mammograms.
